So Long
It has been so long since I've had the chance to post. The last time I posted was in Feb. and now it's August! I've been really busy. Many things have changed. In April I started working for the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and I love it! In the middle of July we bought our first home - it is great with a large backyard with a tree house and swing set. Late July Heath transitioned from Trust Supply back to Rose Air to work as an air frame mechanic. August 9th, Lexi had her first birthday!! The below pic is one of Lexi and my niece Teagan taken in May.
We are all doing well and are truly blessed. We have our health, each other, a beautiful and healthy daughter, great families, a good church family, good friends, good jobs, a new house, and God meets all of our needs. We have much to be thankful for and we're trying not to take any of this for granted. OH...someone please tell me how to get "Lexi is due Aug. 12th" off of the top of my page!!

I can't believe I'm actually getting to post twice in a month! One benefit of being at HSU two days a week is I get some more computer time. I need to be spending my time reading for my two classes, but hey, this is more fun! Valentine's Day for my family turned into a cryfest instead of a love fest. My great grandmother passed away Wed morning around 11 or so. She was 92 and in a nursing home, plus she had altzimers(??). She's definately in a better place now, but it is still hard. She was a fireball and will be missed terribly. Keep my grandmother in your prayers--she's lost without Nanny, her mother. I don't want to imagine that feeling of loss. Even if you have a horrible relationship with your mom, she's still your mom.
Also, be praying with me and Heath about the possibility of us moving AGAIN. We are still having major ant problems at our house. I woke up at 4 am Monday morning to get a drink of water; I sat on the edge of the couch and felt something on my arm. I wiped at my arm and then felt something on my leg. I got up and turned on the light to see our tan leather couch covered in black ants! This is the second time since Christmas, and there's no reason for them to be there; plus, Terminix has been to our house twice now. Anyways, we spoke to Mike and Taren about renting their house, which is cute, and cost less per month. Pray, pray....we don't want to move unless God's with us! Well, I need to go..have a great week!

Happy V-Day
February, the month of LUV! I hope all of you have sweet plans with your sweethearts. Heath and I will probably go out to eat, maybe to a movie, (maybe at Hot Springs), and then have a night to ourselves. Mimi and Papaw will love to have Lexi for the night. I need to be reading for my Vietnam class, but I thougtht I would drop in for a few minutes. The last few weeks have been pretty yucky for us. My step-grandpa passed away, I've been sick, and then last week Heath's grandpa passed away. Heath was pretty upset at first, he had a lot of guilt, but he's better now. The majority of the family feels peace because we know he's in a better place. He accepted Christ the day before he died!! Praise Jesus.
Lexi is continuing to grow; she is now six months old!! Half a year--that's scary. She is truly the light of our lives! I can't believe she was once this little, and still she wasn't that little!! :) Well, this is short but I need to read, plus I have a paper due Thursday. Keep us in your prayers!
